The PERRIN Inlet Hose features a 3.0” internal diameter while the OEM hose is only 2.7”. This design allows for a greater amount of air to smoothly enter your engine with minimal restriction. The increased diameter easily accommodates bolt-on modifications, including aftermarket cams.
While the OEM hose has a pleated interior and a sharp bend, the PERRIN Inlet Hose features a smooth interior and a gradual bend towards the throttle body. This eliminates airflow restriction, increases horsepower, and enhances acceleration.
The PERRIN Inlet Hose is strengthened by a stainless-steel support wire embedded within its silicone layers. This reinforcement adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapse, making it suitable for use with restrictive filter elements and high-horsepower cars operating at higher redlines and equipped with big cams.
For 2013-2020 cars, the PERRIN Inlet Hose removes the sound generator tube and lower resonator box to allow for a smoother air path from the intake to the throttle body. This cleans up the engine bay by removing all the added hoses for these two components.
Increase horsepower and torque without ECU recalibration or tune! This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle without any tuning required!
